2. Design skills
Brand
Translating brand assets from print to digital, ensuring a cohesive story, accessibility guidelines are met and maintaining a strong visual identity.
Delivery
Producing and documenting usable and responsive user interfaces to a high fidelity, for development within known technological or business constraints.
Design process
Justifying all designs with data-led research and solutions, from discovery through to delivery. I am able to confidently explore and design a wide range of ideas and potential design solutions with clients and colleagues using data guided collaborative workshops.
Design systems
Efficiently creating and consolidating UI components and reusable interaction patterns to form coherent design systems, libraries and guidelines. Using my understanding human behaviours and technical constraints in an existing product space to create and test new design patterns. Ensuring all components within the design system are accessible to at least AA standard.
Prototyping
Producing large scale prototypes that display a wide variety of intricate behaviours and interactivity as well as larger scale animation.
Validation
Measuring the impact of design work by facilitating lab-based & remote usability testing that produces a high standard of research findings and design recommendations. Following verifying this with quantifiable research techniques such as conversion rate optimisation.
3. Strategy skills
Architecture
Able to confidently architect information and content using a variety of mapping techniques.
Discovery and insight
Able to conduct a variety of generative research techniques to help reveal potential challenges & opportunities within a product team
Vision
Establishing the mission, goals and desired outcomes of each project within the product team and how the mission affects the wider business needs, long and short term product goals, and the user.
